The most epic of conversations amongst men consistently take place at a barbershop. As a young man, it is practically a right-of-passage to begin going to the shop with one's father, grandfather, uncle, brother, or cousin. It is the sacred ground in which all men go to get commentary from their fellow male counterparts about, politics, sports, women, or current events. In this hallowed place, a lot of discussions happen which allow men to understand manhood, their roles, challenges, and so much more on a deeper level.
In recent years, one of the most controversial topics in the United States is citizen and police relations. Although everyone is talking about it, no one wants to talk through it. We do! We have assembled a diversified group of males and females, which include officers, citizens, city officials, and some who have had prior run-ins with law enforcement, in one place to discuss openly how to make things better.
